As a matter of fact, the moment I decided to go crazy with all the colors I like everything fell into the right place. It felt more like.. me. Don't get me wrong, black is still my main color for clothes, I just like to experiment with different styles and details. After all, isn't design all about that?
Pattern drafting is one of my biggest passions, combine that with victorian era fashion, and you'll get these amazing yet so unpractical cape sleeves. I wanted to go all the way with the embroidery, the more I added the more I thought it needs more of it to look like I imagined it in the first place. Still not sure about the color though, maybe I'll make another one in purple, just in case.

Every once in a while I get that 'I'll just jump into some crazy colored styling' and believe me, for someone that has been wearing all black since the age of 11, it's not an easy thing. So, after a very cold and unusually snowy winter for Belgrade, the sight of flowery landscapes of my new neighborhood inspired me to try my looks in green. Or maybe it was the Harry Potter reading marathon that got me into doing all the Slytherin colors, who knows.
The high waisted jeans was something I was looking for ages, and finally, this years trends have been favorable. I found them in Bershka, so who needs a pair of very stretchy, comfy jeans can go look there.
I rarely go shopping for clothes, since everything I find that remotely fits me is either a bad quality/high price piece of clothes, or it doesn't come in black. And that is exactly the reason I started sewing long time ago.
A lot of people asked me about the belt. It was handmade, I used some old pvc leather belt of mine, and attached the bug metal piece usually used for making jewelry on top. It is a really cool idea, since I find belts such a great pieces of accessory. I might do a DIY some day with it, just as soon as I find a few free moments away from my workshop.

It was about time I refreshed my designs with some color other than purple, and which other than the one favorited by artists and trend lovers of the Victorian era. Emerald green seems to be the perfect shade to go with both my hair and makeup, so when I saw this wool fabric on the shelves in a shop, I instantly had an idea for this long heavy winter coat with lots of embroidery on it.
I added some fake fur since this winter in Belgrade was up to -16 C and I really needed something as thick as possible. It took me more than two working days to finish the embroidery and when I look at it now, I think i should have added even more. Unfortunately we didn't take very good photos of details since my photographer doesn't share the same enthusiasm for winter as I do.
I'll be taking orders for coats for the next week only, after that are the consultations for prom and wedding dresses. I have some awesome orders already now and I`m so excited to get my hands on them, hopefully I'll have time this year to take proper photos of all of them since I've hired an assistant to help me finish all the work faster.
I had so many corsets to do last month, I grew tired of them, so decided to make some new stuff. The belt on the photo is the first one I made, so it's the most basic one for now. I'll make a few more when I find some free time and then post all of them on my etsy page.
Also, I have to announce that I'll be booked until October 20th, I have too many corset orders now I think I'll need an entire month to catch up with my schedule. Haloween orders are closed too, a have a few awesome ones and I'll try to post some photos here as soon as I finish some.
